Review
Stress Less though full of knowledge is great fun to read. Lots of well done and relatable illustrations designed by Matthew Johnstone ease away the fear of a dry communication of facts.
The drawback of this kind of style is a slight inaccuracy when relating complex workings of the mind. As a psychology student, I'm aware of those and a little disturbed, but I also have to admit, that it enhances an easier understanding.

In general, I think that Stress Less  is built up very beneficial to increase awareness of one's self and the own stress system and also to learn regulating the own stress reaction and decrease possible symptoms of an oversensitive stress system. On basis of the psychoeducation, it is possible to broaden your knowledge about stress, what stress elicits in your body and what damage it can cause. But even though very serious information is conveyed, the writing stye and fun illustrations don't create an atmosphere of despair, but increase motivation for changes and the belief for the changes being possible.

All in all, I can only recommend this book to everyone, who is in need of a more relaxed attitude and a new perspective on stress.
